Our client is a Pittsburgh-headquartered law firm with multiple offices across several states, providing services to clients nationwide. Their clientele includes large corporations, privately-held companies, municipal entities, small businesses, and partnerships across various industries and sectors.

About the role

We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Billing Coordinator to join our finance team. This role will manage all aspects of billing operations, from invoice generation to accounts receivable.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire billing process, ensuring all invoices are accurate and sent out in a timely manner.
  • Generate and submit invoices to clients, addressing any queries and resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Process pre-bills and finalize invoices, adhering to company procedures and client requirements.
  • Edit and generate invoices for electronic billing systems such as TyMetrix 360, LegalX, BottomLine Technologies, Mitratech, and CounselLink.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline billing processes and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of all billing activities, providing regular reports to management.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner, maintaining the highest level of professionalism at all times.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in law firm billing.
  • Proven experience in processing pre-bills and generating invoices.
  • Solid understanding of accounts receivable, with the ability to effectively manage outstanding invoices.
  • Excellent numerical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a particular emphasis on Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams.

Pay
