The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is located in the famed Deer Valley ski resort, approximately 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. The hotel is part of a new development featuring 17 ski lifts, ±1,600 residential units, 8 hotels with a total of ±1,350 rooms, ±250,000 square feet of conference and retail space, and one of the largest “ski beaches” in the world.

The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley comprises 436 luxury accommodations, including 381 guest rooms and 55 residential units, with approximately 30,000 square feet of versatile indoor meeting space. About the Role

The Billing Coordinator supports the end-to-end billing process for the Sales & Events department, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a seamless guest experience from initial booking through departure.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain posting masters
  • Review event charges and finalize master bills
  • Update and track deposit schedules
  • Request deposits and final payments prior to arrival
  • Process bill adjustments and reconcile discrepancies
  • Review performance and revenue reports
  • Provide administrative support to the Sales & Events team, including managing phone inquiries and maintaining organized billing documentation
  • Detail event information within the hotel’s billing and event-management systems
  • Collaborate with Event Sales and Event Planning to ensure accurate interpretation of contract terms and proper documentation of group resumes
  • Follow up on all billing-related details
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in billing, finance, accounts payable, or accounts receivable is required
  • One to two years of experience in events or conference management in a hospitality setting is preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and thriving in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication and organization
  • Proficiency in Opera, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
