Biller/Coder III - Revenue Cycle (Full-Time)

A day in the life

• Reviews complex patient encounters, procedures, specialty services, and high-risk documentation to ensure accurate, complete, and compliant coding
• Validates that documentation supports assigned codes and identifies inconsistencies, trends, and opportunities for improvement
• Serves as a subject-matter expert on CPT, ICD, HCPCS, modifiers, NCCI edits, payer guidelines, and regulatory requirements
• Provides real-time feedback and consultation to physicians and APPs on coding, documentation, and payer requirements
• Serves as a mentor and resource to team members, assisting with complex cases and supporting skill development
• Maintains professionalism, confidentiality, and a positive organizational presence internally and externally
• Collaborates with revenue cycle, operations, and analytics teams to support coding initiatives, workflow improvements, and process redesign
• Participates in coding audits, documentation improvement initiatives, and cross-functional projects
