The Role at a Glance

Responsible for auditing and managing customer paperwork, billing, and revenue distribution. Ensures accurate rating, invoicing, and posting of revenue to appropriate accounts while maintaining compliance with contracts, tariffs, and customer requirements. Collaborates with multiple stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, manage workflows, and meet deadlines.

How You’ll Contribute

  • Track, analyze, and audit all customer paperwork to ensure accuracy and proper rating of services.
  • Distribute revenue to the appropriate branches, divisions, sales consultants, vendors, and contractors, posting amounts to accounts receivable, and verifying correct distribution.
  • Timely invoicing according to customer account requirements and revenue reconciliation are also part of your role.
  • Frequent communication with dispatchers, United Van Lines, move coordinators, drivers, agents, and customers is necessary to address rating, billing, revenue distribution, and paperwork accuracy.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tariffs, distribution formulas, and contract requirements.
  • Manage daily workflow and oversee the accrual report.
  • Accurate application of contracts and tariffs to shipments billing national accounts, government agencies, and cash-on-delivery customers is essential.
  • Verify documents and services before rating, and before inputting charges into the pricing system based on special instructions and notes to ensure proper billing.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Education/Work Experience/Certificates: Two or four-year college degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related field preferred; One to two years' experience in the moving and storage industry preferred.
  • Skills: Customer Focused, Collaborative, Communicative, Resilient, Strive for inclusion of others, General knowledge of tariffs, rate structures, moving and storage industry, Strong analytical skills, Ability to prioritize and multi-task with high volumes of work.
