Bilingual Warehouse/Dispatch Associate

About the role

The Warehouse/Dispatch Associate is a key member of a team supporting daily warehouse operations and coordinating with subcontracted flooring installers.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming flooring shipments and organize warehouse inventory
• Measure, cut, label, and stage flooring materials for subcontractor pickup
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and ongoing tracking
• Assign and dispatch daily work orders to subcontracted installers
• Communicate job details and updates clearly to installers
• Resolve order, material, and scheduling issues as they arise
• Cookorate with sales, operations, billing, QA, warehouse, and installation teams
• Provide phone and email support to installers and customers as needed
• Load subcontractor vehicles with materials and supplies for job completion
• Sustain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• Support delivery of materials when required, including driving company vehicles (MVR check and insurance enrollment required)
• Participate in a rotating Saturday schedule during peak periods
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support branch operations

Qualifications

• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required
• 2+ years of warehouse, logistics, dispatch, or related experience preferred
• Ability to perform basic math and accurate material measurements
• Experience with inventory control, receiving, and cycle counts
• Ability to lift and move 50–75 lbs on a regular basis
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage shifting priorities
• Basic computer skills including data entry and email communication
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer-focused, professional, and team-oriented mindset
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Bilingual English/Spanish may be required depending on branch needs
• Experience with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets) preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Experience with flooring or installation is a plus but not required
