Bilingual Underwriter -Richdale Apartments

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate rental applications in accordance with company guidelines and screening criteria.
• Verify income, employment, credit history, rental history, and background information.
• Assess applicant qualifications and make approval recommendations based on established policies.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and all applicable regulations.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of underwriting decisions and supporting documentation.
• Communicate professionally with applicants, leasing teams, and property management staff regarding application status and required documentation.
• Process applications efficiently while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
• Identify discrepancies, potential risks, or missing information and escalate as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
• Previous experience in underwriting, leasing, property management, financial review, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and rental screening processes is a plus.
• Bilingual (Spanish) (preferred).
