BILINGUAL- Spanish-Toolkit Tutors Tutor Network (NYC In-Person Roles)

About the role

We are building an active tutor network for in-person placements across NYC public schools. We provide tutoring services, primarily during the school day, through targeted, high-impact programs.

Responsibilities

• Teach and tutor in English and Spanish
• Tutor in core subjects including Math, ELA, Science, and Humanities
• Support students preparing for Regents exams
• Mentor and lead small group sessions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, completed or nearing completion
• At least one year of experience teaching or tutoring in a school setting
• Strong knowledge of core content areas and instructional Spanish
• Experience working in urban school communities and understanding of common student challenges
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to student growth
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage students
• Ability to commute to school sites across NYC

Qualifications

DOE fingerprint clearance is strongly preferred.

Skills

Strong academic performance, tutoring experience, and knowledge of core content areas.
