Core Responsibilities

  • Technical Client Delivery & Architecture: Act as the primary technical SME to Issuers, Acquirers, Processors, and Gateways, translating complex network product specifications into actionable client implementation plans.
  • L3 Terminal Certification Support (Acquiring): Guide partners through L3 terminal certification setup, connectivity, test case execution, and TSE configuration. Evaluate test case failures, address technical queries, analyze/approve waivers, and review final documentation to approve Letters of Certification (LOC).
  • Serve as a SME for network test tools (card/host simulators).
  • Card Profile Validation Support (Issuing): Consult with Issuers to select and build card profiles adhering to Network EMV specifications. Troubleshoot CPV failures, validate pre-requisites, approve waivers, and sign off on final LOCs.
  • Technical Troubleshooting & Investigation: Conduct root-cause analysis on technical integration issues—digging into specs, transaction flows, and configuration files rather than acting purely as an administrative project manager.
  • Process Improvement & Strategy: Identify inefficiencies in existing implementation models to optimize client onboarding, improve metrics tracking, and support the commercialization of new payment capabilities.
  • Risk & Partner Management: Proactively manage technical risks, escalate customer-impacting issues, and maintain strong relationships with internal business teams and external service providers.
