About the role

As a Lead Teller within PNC's Retail organization, you will coach, mentor, and lead tellers by example to deliver a unique customer experience aimed at improving customer financial wellbeing and creating loyalty while increasing share of wallet. You will process a variety of customer interactions, educate customers on financial alternatives, and identify banking opportunities during customer interactions to make appropriate referrals.

  • Coach, mentor, and lead tellers in identifying opportunities through meaningful conversations with customers and making appropriate referrals to branch staff.
  • Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs.
  • Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools, and resources.
  • Demonstrate clear communication skills, transaction handling, and problem resolution processes.
  • Assist the Branch Manager in performance management and new hire selection processes.
  • Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.
  • Oversee teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

PNC employees are expected to be customer-focused, managing risk while aligning customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of related experience (roles at this level typically do not require a university/college degree).
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency is required.
  • PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Pay

Base Salary: $45,000.00 – $75,000.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible, with payment based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
