Bilingual Senior Travel Consultant (french + english)

About the role

You will perform high-touch service excellence to key client travelers and be responsible for accurately and efficiently handling incoming requests via multiple channels (i.e. phone, email, etc.). You will provide active travel consultation, including providing travel details and up-selling related products.

Responsibilities

• Search and confirm travel reservations for the customer (being Consultative in offer better routings, fares, round the world fares, alternative hotel options)
• Have a strong understanding of a client travel policy and can appropriately guide and consistently provide consultation to the customer
• Fulfill all requests regarding necessary regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, etc.)
• Excellently use the appropriate the BCD Travel tools and systems to complete requests

Requirements

• Strong skills in international reservations
• Working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
• Strong skills in GDS Sabre and BCD applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French (must)

Pay

The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Senior Travel Consultant is between $47,000 and $60,000.

Schedule

Flexibility in scheduling is a core requirement of the role.
