This role will split time between Nuevas Fronteras Elementary (1020 3rd St., St. Paul Park, MN 55071) and Pullman Elementary (1260 Selby Ave., St. Paul Park, MN 55071). 1.0 FTE, full-time, in-person position.

About the role

As a School Based Therapist at Sagent Behavioral Health, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to students within an elementary school setting, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing support. You will collaborate with school staff, parents, and external agencies to create a supportive environment that fosters students' well-being and academic success.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, implement, and maintain treatment plans, and complete ongoing documentation.
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Sagent staff, and school staff as needed.
  • Provide consultation to parents and school staff.
  • Attend school meetings, IEP meetings, Student Intervention team meetings, etc.
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.
  • Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in your community.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.
  • Clinical licensure or licensure track for: MN: LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP.
  • Required bilingual fluency in English and Spanish with the ability to provide assessment, treatment, consultation, and documentation services in either language as needed.
  • Experience completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes with the ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with children and adolescents, which may include internship, practicum, or supervised clinical experience.
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 and EHR systems.

Pay

We offer pay options to meet your professional and financial goals.

  • Licensed: $68,000 – $75,000
  • Pre-licensed: $50,000 – $55,000

A $2,000 sign-on bonus is available. A pay premium may be available for bilingual candidates. Actual compensation may be determined by various factors such as education, experience, skillset, internal equity, schedule, and/or location. Employees in these positions are W2.
