About the role

Responsible for developing independent account business with an emphasis on overall profitability through both new sales and account penetration. You will promote and sell company-branded products, meet brand sales objectives, and may support customer service activities for regional and/or national chain customers to increase market visibility and share.

Responsibilities

• Generate additional business by analyzing sales territory and individual customers, sampling products, planning sales strategy, and conducting effective sales presentations.
• Grow sales and profit margins to meet established goals.
• Set up new customer accounts, including pricing, credit authorization, and scheduling order-taking and deliveries.
• Perform initial follow-up to ensure delivery and product satisfaction.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating with center personnel to prevent and resolve issues.
• Make deliveries in emergency situations as needed.
• Build additional business with current customers through product penetration to maximize profitability.
• Monitor accounts for compliance with credit terms and address receivable issues.
• Maintain awareness of pricing trends, especially for market-driven or commodity products, to ensure competitive pricing.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6–12 months of sales/marketing and/or restaurant experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Pay

$70,000–$90,000
