Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of site safety programmes across active construction projects
• Promote compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
• Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing workforce training
• Build strong relationships with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to promote a positive safety culture
• Review and implement project-specific safety plans and procedures
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the project

Requirements

• Construction safety experience considered from entry level through senior level
• Experience on commercial, industrial, healthcare, manufacturing, mission-critical, or large-scale construction projects preferred
• Strong understanding of OSHA standards and construction safety best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• OSHA 30 preferred (or willingness to obtain where applicable)
• CHST, ASP, CSP, STSC, or other safety certifications are advantageous

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred, but not essential depending on experience
