Bilingual Safety Coordinator- OSHA 500
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- All phases of branch Safety/ Lean Support and Enforcement.
- Safety Checklist / Lean Checklist Inspections.
- Conduct New Hire Orientations and Skill Assessments (when required).
- Supportive documentation.
- Provide training and licensing for field personnel task to work with tools and equipment i.e. Hilti Tools, MEWPs, Lull & Forklift operations, Scaffolds, Ladders and Stilts.
- Support Management team in creating New Job Start Up requirements i.e. contract safety documents, JSSP/ SSSP, OCIP -CCIP requirement etc.
- Ensures a Safe and Healthy work environment that adheres with OSHA guidelines.
- Accompany and support injured employees, attend initial doctor appointments, support until employee is released to full duty.
- Ensures all documentation is completed for any Accident, Incident or Property Damage.
- Other duties as needed.
Requirements / Experience
- 8+ years in commercial construction safety experience.
- Knowledge of desktop computers, laptops, iPad, smartphones, and various other electronic devises.
- OSHA 500.
- SPS Trained Trainer (provided by a Branch Safety Coordinator, Safety QQC, Safety Manager or Branch supporting SQRM).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
