Bilingual Retail Sales Associate

About the role

Cox Communications is seeking a Bilingual Retail Sales Associate to create exceptional customer experiences and drive sales. This role involves evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, and requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Explain and demonstrate product capabilities
• Offer suggestions based on customer wants and needs
• Meet or exceed targets for customer experience, sales, and retention
• Aid in store operations, including opening and closing
• Handle cash transactions
• Engage in workshops, special events, and product demos
• Support fellow sales associates
• Participate in regular training classes to expand knowledge of current and competitor products

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Up to 2 years of relevant work experience
• Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken
• Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to build relationships and adapt to a diverse customer base
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Computer literacy and aptitude for learning communication products, services, and accessories
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds to help manage stock room inventory

Qualifications

• Some college experience with a focus in sales, business, or management preferred
• One year of experience in related fields (Sales, Retail Sales, Service Industry, etc.)
• Experience selling Wireless/Mobile products

Pay

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $15.29 - $22.88/hour. The hourly rate may vary based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the hourly range, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $15,348.00.

Schedule

This role requires working some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
