Bilingual Retail Sales Associate

About the Role
NECOA, by Coway, and 2020 Companies have partnered to hire a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate. In this role, you will assist in driving sales and creating excitement around the NECOA brand and water purification products in our shopping mall retail store. You will demonstrate products to customers, tailor demonstrations to their needs, and build rapport with customers and store management.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate NECOA water purification products within our branded retail store
- Engage and build rapport with customers by creating a memorable experience
- Maintain professional relationships with management and staff within assigned store
- Maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality, and demo-readiness
- Report competitive insights
- Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environments
- Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis
- Courteously welcome customers and offer assistance
- Direct customers by escorting them to displays; assess needs and suggest products
- Advise customers by providing information on products and services
- Help customers make selections by building customer confidence
- Accurately document and report sales
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Accurately track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations
- Ensure work station/kiosk is clean, well-organized, functional, and presentable at all times
- Submit all paperwork completely and accurately
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom, or marketing experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of products and services
- Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
- 1-year job experience required
Qualifications
- Preferred fluency in English and Spanish (able to read, write, and speak Spanish)
- Problem-solving, tech-savvy enthusiast
- Outgoing personality and eager to learn
- Comfortable engaging with customers and demonstrating products with training
- Ability to engage in a selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needs
- Retail experience or customer service experience a plus
- Training or product demonstration experience a plus
Performance Measurements
- Regular and prompt attendance
- Meet established monthly/weekly sales quota/goals
- Customer/client satisfaction based on rejection percentage and substantiated complaints
