Bilingual Retail Sales Associate

About the role

Cox Communications is seeking a Bilingual Retail Sales Associate to join their team. This role involves creating exceptional customer experiences and driving sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Explain and demonstrate product capabilities as well as offer suggestions based on customer’s wants and needs
• Meet or exceed targets regarding customer experience, sales, and retention
• Aid in the opening/closing of retail store environments
• Handle cash properly
• Engage in workshops, special events, and product demos
• Support fellow sales agents when needed
• Continuously expand knowledge of current Cox products and competitor product offerings through regular training classes
• May be required to work in other locations in the same geographical area

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma/GED or up to 2 years of relevant work experience
• Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken
• Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to sell products using a consultative, solutions-based approach and influence customer decisions
• Ability to build relationships and adapt to a diverse customer base
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a service-oriented, fast-paced team environment
• Ability to be mobile within the store for long periods of time to greet customers and demonstrate products and services
• Computer literacy with an aptitude for learning communication products, services, and accessories
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule which includes weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds to help manage stock room inventory

Qualifications

• Some college experience with a focus in sales, business, or management
• One year of experience in related fields (Sales, Retail Sales, Service Industry, etc.)
• Experience selling Wireless/Mobile products

• Variable targeted total compensation of $50,708 ($24.38/hr.)
• Monthly targeted commissions of $1,279
• $1 per hour Bilingual differential
• Full-time hourly base rate of $17.00/hr.

Pay

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $15.29 - $22.88/hour. The hourly rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience.

Schedule

This job requires you to follow the retail routine of working some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
