Bilingual Respite Caregiver/Community Support Specialist

AlwaysNear Home Care is seeking a dependable, bilingual caregiver to provide in-home respite and supportive care for an adult client transitioning home after a recent hospitalization.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one companionship and supervision
• Provide respite relief for the family
• Assist with maintaining a safe and structured daily routine
• Encourage appropriate daily activities and independence
• Assist with meals and basic daily living needs as authorized
• Provide calm, patient redirection and emotional support
• Observe and report changes or concerns to the agency
• Complete required shift documentation

Qualifications

• Experience working with adults with mental/behavioral health needs strongly preferred
• CNA, PCA, caregiver, DSP, or similar experience preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Must pass required background screening
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable, patient, professional, and comfortable providing one-on-one care
• Must speak English and Spanish fluently

4-day-per-week consistent case — serious and dependable applicants only.

This is a non-clinical respite/support position. The caregiver will not provide counseling, therapy, psychiatric treatment, or other services outside their authorized scope.
