Key responsibilities
- Work the brownfield: Re-engage homes in areas where fiber service has already been installed or marketed
- Help customers who’ve seen us before understand why now is the right time to sign up
- Manage and follow up: Call, text, and drop by again—stay top of mind and be the trusted resource
- Partner with your manager to attend local events and build community presence
- Own your outcomes: Convert past hesitations into new signups and meet performance goals
- Represent IdeaTek with professionalism, integrity, and creativity
- Follow protocols, track your activity, and make the most of your time in the field

About the role
We’re expanding into brownfield markets—areas where we’ve already introduced our fiber service. These areas are full of opportunity, but they require more than just knocking. You’ll need creativity, confidence, and communication savvy to convert passings into customers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluently speaks both English and Spanish
- 1+ years of sales experience
- Valid driver’s license with no restrictions
- Availability to travel and work 4+ days/week in the field, with afternoon/evening focus
- Physical ability to walk several miles per day and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Self-discipline and independence—you can manage your time and territory effectively

Pay
- Base salary with commission based on sales conversions
- Sign On Bonus of $1,500 after 60 days of successful employment
