About the role

Collaborates with consultants, school districts, and community service providers to facilitate training, workshops, webinars, assemblies, and related activities. Assists in programmatic data collection, reporting, continuous quality improvement processes, and evaluation of services for the target population.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver community education programs to staff, students, the public, professionals, and volunteers.
• Ensure fidelity and compliance with all programs and trainings.
• Develop and implement assessments and surveys to track and measure program impact and outcomes.
• Actively pursue, represent the agency, and participate in primary prevention speaking engagements.
• Manage and maintain all program schedules and grant requirements.
• Participate in and/or coordinate Community Health Fairs, open houses, information sessions, and agency-wide events as assigned.
• Ensure all training and curriculums are updated and maintained to ensure program fidelity.
• Perform work responsibilities in various locations.
• Attend weekend and evening meetings and events as required.
• Work both independently and in a team environment.
• Organize and manage multiple priorities and tasks with strong time management skills.
• Serve as a representative of Prevention Links, upholding the agency’s expectation of excellence and collaboration.
• Maintain an understanding of all programs, grants, and projects offered by Prevention Links.
• Adhere to Prevention Links administrative, reporting, and recordkeeping guidelines to support accurate documentation of activities.
• Participate in all agency-required training.
• Complete all other duties and tasks as requested by the CEO or Division Director.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services–related field.
• At least three years’ experience working in a non-profit or social service environment in the development or implementation of community-based services, prevention programs, or other human service programs.
• Experience implementing evidence-based practice models and other materials related to training and coaching according to policies and procedures.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Sensitivity, flexibility, and responsiveness to gender, race, ethnicity, socio-economic status, religion, age, sexual orientation, or any other special needs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and basic computer skills.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. and New Jersey.
• Ability to speak and write English proficiently.
• Ability to speak and write Spanish proficiently.
• Ability to walk, stand, and sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Valid New Jersey Driver’s License and an independent mode of transportation.

Schedule

• 35 hours per week.
• Evening and weekend availability required for meetings, outreach, and program coverage.
• Frequent travel within and outside of Union County; local, independent travel required.
• Domestic travel is required; mileage reimbursed.

Pay

$28.55–$29.67 per hour, non-exempt.
