Monday-Friday (7:30AM-5:30PM)
Responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist in ensuring the appropriateness of medication doses by obtaining and entering patient information as necessary
- Ensure the patient receives correct medication by using appropriate dispensing procedures
- Maintain adequate stock of medication and supplies, use safety precautions when stocking, and ensure proper filling techniques are used when preparing medications
- Re-establish priorities based on workload
- Ensure insurance adjudication and pre-authorizations are processed in a timely manner
- Complete and properly document Daily and Monthly Activity checklists, including expired drug checking, cleaning, area inspections, and ordering as assigned
