Bilingual Permanency Achievement Specialist

This position is in both our Pilsen office and Joliet office. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Permanency Achievement Specialist to join our team in Champaign, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with children and families to achieve permanency through adoption or reunification. This role involves providing support, resources, and guidance to ensure successful outcomes for children in need of permanent homes. Responsibilities Develop and implement permanency plans for children in foster careCollaborate with social workers, case managers, and other professionals to support permanency goalsProvide counseling and support services to children and families throughout the permanency processAdvocate for the best interests of children in court hearings and meetingsMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all interactions and progress Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field requiredPrevious experience working with children and families in a social services setting requiredKnowledge of child welfare laws and regulationsBilingual (Spanish and English) written and orally requiredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team We Invest in You!
