About the role

The Bilingual Paraprofessional provides academic support for limited English-speaking students, assists second language students in reading and language development, and communicates with students, teachers, school personnel, and families in two different languages (English and Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Supports limited English-speaking students in their academic progress.
• Aids second language students in improving their reading and language skills.
• Communicates effectively with students, teachers, school personnel, and families in both English and Spanish.

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Knowledge of educational strategies for language acquisition.
