Redefine Healthcare is looking for a dedicated, full-time Medical Assistant to join our expanding team of healthcare professionals in our Oakhurst, Toms River, and East Brunswick Offices.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of documentation required for patient appointments.
• Use of EHR (documenting patient history, vitals, test results, exam findings, plans as instructed by provider).
• Order entry and submission (ePrescribing, labs and imaging studies, interventional procedures, etc.)
• Assist with in-office injections.
• Assist with casting, splinting, and suturing.
• Respond to patient calls and inquiries.
• Respond to pharmacy refill inquiries.
• Any and all other tasks as directed by providers.

Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Solid working knowledge of EHR systems; Athena knowledge a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team setting.

Pay

$23-25/ hour depending on specialty and experience
