About the role

We are currently seeking a Bilingual Lead Clinician to join our residential team. The Bilingual Lead Clinician is responsible for the overall clinical operations, administration, and management of the clinical services for a 24-bed program for unaccompanied minors.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision to staff in accordance with licensing requirements and standards as needed.
  • Oversee the coordination, implementation, and evaluation of individual service plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate clinical services and programs to ensure best practices, compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies and licensing standards.
  • Design and develop treatment protocols that can advance UC care and apply consistency throughout the facility.
  • Provide emergency evaluation for UC in crisis and facilitate referral to more intensive levels of treatment or alternative solutions that can be handled onsite.
  • Assist clinical staff with admission assessments.
  • Actively participate in exhibiting cultural awareness and sensitivity when interacting with children, parent(s)/guardian(s), staff, and the community.
  • Provide consultation to clinical staff, interdisciplinary team, and other service providers to facilitate a coordinated continuum of UC care.
  • Drive a vehicle when necessary.

Requirements

  • Must have a Masters in Behavioral Sciences, plus 2-years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience; or a master's degree or Ph.D. in psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science in which clinical experience is a program requirement, plus 2-years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience; or a bachelor's degree plus 5-years of clinical employment experience in behavioral sciences.
  • Must be licensed to provide clinical services in the where the care provider is located.
  • Must have experience with Mental Health reporting and treatment and working in a facility/program similar to Trinity as a Therapist and in a supervisory role.
  • Must be well organized and able to assume a position of strong leadership with the clinical team.
  • Must have a special interest in working with youth and must fulfill the general requirements as established in the California Code of Regulations, Title 22.

Skills

  • Writing, verbal skills, and the ability to compose quality reports and other necessary correspondence are essential.
