About the Role

We are seeking a Bilingual Licensed Independent Therapist (LCSW) to provide remote counseling and therapy treatment to patients through telemedicine, serving our Community Health Center partners. As a "say yes" first clinical provider, we meet patients where they are and guide them along their journey to recovery and stabilization. The clinician must hold an active, unrestricted behavioral health license in California.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Psychoeducation, Trauma Therapy, Addiction Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Bereavement/Grief Counseling, and others in both individual and group therapy settings.
• Engage patients in their treatment plans and ensure timely review and signature of clinical Psychosocial assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and consents.
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinic records, including documentation of all services and patient activities.
• Conduct crisis intervention for individuals and families based on safety plans.
• Participate in regular case planning with the Multidisciplinary Team to ensure clinically appropriate patient disposition.
• Engage in individual and group supervision, ongoing education, and competency assessments as required.
• Provide case management services to promote recovery and community reintegration.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted mental health license in the state of primary residence and California.
• Comfortable working in a remote environment with a patient-first mindset.
• Trained and/or certified in evidence-based trauma modalities such as TF-CBT, EMDR, Brain Spotting, Somatic-Based Approaches, Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Attachment-Based Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Polyvagal Theory, or Family Systems (IFS).

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged sitting: Ability to sit for extended periods during working hours.
• Manual dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination for using a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
• Visual requirements: Adequate vision for reading computer screens and documents.
• Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills for virtual meetings and correspondence.
• Hearing: Sufficient hearing ability for participating in phone calls or virtual meetings.
• Work environment: Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions with reliable internet connectivity.
