Bilingual Health Center Team Lead - MA- ACCESS Cabrini
The Health Center Team Lead drives daily operations, ensuring efficiency, exceptional patient experiences, and adherence to ACCESS policies and procedures. They serve as a Superuser for EPIC and other key systems to improve efficiency, supervise staff, provide leadership, and deliver performance feedback. They also resolve patient concerns, support staff, and ensure a positive experience.
Core Job Responsibilities
- Train, mentor, and support staff to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
- Serve as a Superuser for EPIC and other key systems to improve efficiency.
- Supervise staff, provide leadership, and deliver performance feedback.

- Implement new processes and ensure compliance with OSHA, IDPH, The Joint Commission (TJC).
- Optimize scheduling efficiency, reduce patient wait times, and overall service quality.
- Maintain inventory, manage supplies, and oversee cash collections.
- Develop staff schedules, assign tasks, and lead daily huddles.
- Perform within expert scope of practice and manage emergencies, including servicing as Vaccine for Children (VFC) liaison.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support health equity initiatives.
Requirements/Preferences
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two (2) years’ healthcare experience and one (1) year as an MA required.
- A minimum (6) months as an EPIC Superuser required.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Working Conditions/Equipment
- Requires local travel between clinical/health centers, hospitals, and community sites.
- A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance are required when using a personal vehicle.
ACCESS is a Network of Federally Qualified Health Centers treating patients on the frontlines of community-based health care. Depending on position applied/being recruited for, candidates may be required to be vaccinated against communicable diseases and provide supporting documentation proving that they are properly vaccinated, or apply for religious and/or medical vaccination exemption as a part of the application process.
Pay
The pay ranges provided represent the minimum to mid-range for positions. Actual compensation will be determined based on a combination of factors including years of experience, educational background, market conditions, and available grant funding.
