Bilingual (English-Spanish) Coordinator of Youth Ministry

About the Role

The Coordinator of Youth Ministry at Saint Ann Parish in Arlington, Virginia, reports to the Director of Faith Formation. This full‑time position (35 hours/week) combines youth program planning with clerical support for the faith formation office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute two parish‑based youth activities each month (one for middle‑school students and one for high‑school students), expanding the program as it grows.
• Provide clerical support to the Director of Faith Formation as an Administrative Assistant.
• Record sacraments and prepare sacramental certificates.
• Translate ministry materials into Spanish.
• Assist with recruiting volunteers for youth ministry and catechesis.

Requirements

• Actively practicing Catholic.
• Fluently bilingual in spoken and written English and Spanish.
• Compliance with the Diocese of Arlington’s child‑protection requirements before the first day of employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
