Bilingual Eligibility Specialist
Key Responsibilities
- Guide families through intake, application, eligibility, certification, and recertification processes for subsidized early education and childcare programs.
- Review, verify, and audit documentation, including income records, employment or school schedules, emergency referrals, and other eligibility materials.
- Maintain accurate and confidential digital and physical case files in compliance with program, state, and federal requirements.
- Explain eligibility rules, documentation requirements, timelines, and program guidelines to families in a clear, professional, and empathetic manner.
- Partner with internal team members to ensure timely case processing, accurate records, and a positive family experience.
- Serve as a trusted resource for families while maintaining compliance, confidentiality, and high standards of client service.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of administrative/customer service experience
- Bilingual Spanish (Intermediate)
- Good attention to detail
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
- Position Type: Full-time
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Duration: 2 to 4 months
- Location: San Fernando, CA
