About the Opportunity

The Bilingual Customer Service and Rebate Processing Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the organization’s business processing team by managing application processing and delivering customer service. This position directly contributes to improving efficiency, speed, and quality of program administration while ensuring a positive customer experience, thereby supporting the organization’s mission to facilitate clean energy initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic troubleshooting and recommend solutions
  • Enter data into various database applications
  • Compile, sort, interpret, and verify data and sourcing documents
  • Maintain electronic and hard-copy filing systems for applications, rebates, and supporting documents
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to service customers
  • Respond to customer emails and phone calls
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in a customer-centric environment
  • Safeguard confidential customer information
  • Provide peer training and job shadowing support as assigned
  • Support any program within the department as needed
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Availability for 8-hour shifts between 8 am and 6 pm
  • Minimum of 6 months related call center experience
  • Proficiency in 10-key data entry
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, customer-friendly attitude
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection with minimum recommended speeds
  • PREFERRED: Experience in data entry processing and customer-centric call center environment, experience in energy efficiency or utility fields

Pay Range and Compensation Package

Base salary range: $17/hr to $20.39/hr
Eligibility for discretionary annual bonus
Final compensation based on experience, education, and location
