Bilingual Contact Center Representative

About the role

Join CoVantage Credit Union as a bilingual interpreter who connects members to the financial services they need. You will provide exceptional service through in‑person, phone, and digital interactions, interpreting conversations, assisting with accounts, and ensuring every member feels understood, confident, and valued. The role involves answering questions, guiding members through financial solutions, and contributing to a collaborative environment where you can grow your skills, build strong relationships, and help members achieve financial well‑being.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, professional service by serving as an interpreter between credit union employees and bilingual members.
• Assist online, mobile, and phone banking users by resetting passwords, unlocking accounts, addressing bill‑pay inquiries, facilitating cross‑account access, and verifying deposits.
• Perform all job functions with a high degree of accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism.
• Balance individual productivity, job performance, and service goals while maintaining a positive, team‑based experience for members and co‑workers.
• Exhibit the credit union’s seven service standards, promoting a culture of welcoming all and putting people first.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass credit union fluency testing and maintain working knowledge of English and a secondary language.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an interpreter (preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience or an Associate’s Degree.
• General knowledge of credit union services (preferred).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows software programs.

Pay

$18.00 – $30.79 per hour, with the starting rate based on related experience and qualifications.
