Responsibilities
- Source critical craft positions (Operators, Mechanics, Drivers, Laborers).
- Proactively source for passive candidates.
- Conduct phone screens for craft candidates.
- Schedule face-to-face interviews with candidate and HR and Operations teams.
- Communicate with candidate on schedule and coordinate post-interview feedback.
- Participate and assist with job fairs, including in-house events and High School/Trade School events.
- Aid in expediting candidates through the interview process by minimizing delays, expediting hiring decisions, and updating the Applicant Tracking System appropriately.
- Work with HR Operations Team to create seamless candidate/new hire transition.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, legislation, and total alignment to all Allan Myers processes and programs.
- Provide direction and guidance in support of Allan Myers’ values and standards.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources preferred.
- 2-5 years in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition or Recruiting (or related experience) required.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
- Must demonstrate fluency in written Spanish, including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Proven ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Experience with ATS platforms and sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed.
- Very experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (proficient and efficient).
- Ability to learn new technology systems required.
- Experience working in a position that required attention to detail, flexibility, and a high level of organization.
- Ability to effectively communicate to members of leadership team, potential candidates, and Operations team members.
- Must represent Allan Myers internally and externally in a positive, professional, and friendly manner.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
