At Tulsa Honor Academy (THA), we are on a mission to equip all scholars with the academic skills, content knowledge, and ethical character required for college graduation and life success. We believe ALL scholars, regardless of race, background, income or ability, can achieve at high levels. We work relentlessly to ensure 100% of scholars are on a path to go to and graduate from a college of their choice, beginning in the fifth grade.

What You'll Do

• Stakeholder Engagement: Implement strategies related to communications to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
• Media Liaison: Serve as THA’s media liaison and ensure THA is positively featured often in local, state and national news.
• Content Creation: Develop a variety of content for an array of platforms, including for social media channels, website, newsletters, etc.
• Website: Manage THA’s website and ensure that information is fresh, timely and accurate.
• Collateral Creation: Create and edit a range of materials for various campaigns or needs, including one-pagers, publications, meeting materials, swag, and more in line with THA’s brand.
• Maintain Branding: Uphold and maintain THA’s branding and messaging guidelines in all digital and printed materials across THA’s Network.

Qualifications/Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree highly required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field highly preferred.

Experience

• Fluency In: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat), social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc), SEO
• Preferred Fluency In: social media management and monitoring, website publishing, photography and video creation, advertising campaigns
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Evidence of creating compelling and ROI-driven content
• Evidence of executing communications strategy

Role

The Communications Coordinator will report to the Chief of Staff, working on THA’s Network Team. This is a full-time, year-round, non-exempt position.

Compensation and Benefits: THA's starting compensation range for coordinators with a bachelor's degree begins at $47,000. Salary is commensurate with experience in the education field. THA’s compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package.
