Bilingual Clinical Counselor

About the role

Joining Maryland Treatment Centers, Inc., you will be part of an outpatient team dedicated to helping adolescents and adults manage substance use disorders and other behavioral health issues.

Responsibilities

• Completing comprehensive clinical assessments
• Conducting individual and family therapy sessions
• Leading group therapy sessions
• Treatment planning
• Thoroughly documenting clinical work within appropriate time frames
• Prioritizing clinical workload in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• License/certification issued by the State of Maryland such as ADT, CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LGPC, LGADC, LCPC, LCADC, LMSW, LCSW-C
• Understanding of DSM-5 diagnosis criteria and working knowledge of ASAM placement criteria
• Culturally responsive
• Growth mindset with interest and desire to learn and explore evidence-based practices
• Knowledge of EHR/EMR
• Basic computer skills and general knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Passionate about treating adolescents and adults with substance use disorders and other behavioral health concerns
• Ability to work in a team-based environment
