Bilingual Branch Wholesale Product Specialist (Spanish)

About the Role
The individual selected for this role will work closely with commercial paint customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend solutions. Wholesale Product Specialists promptly resolve customer concerns to ensure maximum satisfaction, stay up-to-date with product features, and maintain high quality and visual standards of the products and store. The role focuses on achieving excellent customer service while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals.
Job duties involve customer interaction (including minors), handling cash and payments, accessing electronic equipment and personal information, and managing store merchandise. Due to the nature of these responsibilities, a criminal history review is required to protect the business, its operations, customers, staff, and the public.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
- Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures
- Maintain precise work order files and formulas
- Tint and mix products to customer specifications
- Clean store equipment
- Assist in making deliveries as needed
- Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
- Suggest ways to improve sales
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for an employment work visa now or in the future
- Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
- Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
- Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
- Able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements: As listed above under Requirements
- Preferred Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- At least one (1) year of experience working in delivery, retail, or customer service
- Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
- Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
