Bilingual Accountant (French)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Plant Accountant, bilingual in French & English, to support a manufacturing facility during a transition period. This role is heavily focused on plant accounting, manufacturing cost accounting, inventory, and financial analysis within a production environment. Occasional travel to Montreal, QC will be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage plant accounting and manufacturing cost accounting activities.
• Support month-end close, inventory accounting, cost analysis, and financial reporting.
• Partner with operations to analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and plant performance.
• Utilize SAP and other ERP systems to support accounting processes and reporting.
• Ensure accurate financial data and compliance with internal controls.

Requirements

• Strong experience in plant/manufacturing cost accounting.
• SAP experience strongly preferred; other large ERP systems will be considered.
• Ability to work independently and quickly learn plant accounting processes.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be bilingual in French & English.
