Responsibilities
- Aiding in long term care facility billing
- Creating and preparing welcome packets
- Making collection calls as needed
- Communicating with facilities regarding billing questions
- Maintaining accurate billing records and documentation
- Assisting with additional departmental duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous billing or healthcare office experience preferred
- Long term care or pharmacy experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Basic computer knowledge and attention to detail
