Responsibilities

• Serve as a knowledgeable resource to our customers
• Demonstrate a professional standard of customer service
• Assess service needs and perform tune-ups and repairs on bicycles
• Build bikes to a safe, ride-ready state
• Generate bike and accessory sales while working with customers
• Complete accurate paperwork and prioritize work orders
• Stay current on industry products and trends
• Protect company assets through loss prevention techniques
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and guests
• Work in a safe manner

Requirements

• Passion for cycling/bicycles
• Strong customer service skills
• Minimum of 1-year bike mechanic experience in a retail store
• Previous experience with various bike components, service tools, and machinery
• Able to lift merchandise, packages, and other items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Able to build all levels of bikes from the box to a safe, ride-ready bike
• Able to stand and move in an active, team-oriented environment for extended periods
• Able to communicate fluently with co-workers and guests in accurate spoken and written English
• Basic computer skills
• Commitment to exceptional customer service
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends

Pay

Budgeted range starts at: $25-$28/hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Schedule

Flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
