Job Description
- Cook up bid invitations
- Subcontractor outreach
- Vendor communication
- Organize bid documents
- Prepare and maintain bid lists
- Proposal deadlines
- Subcontractor coverage
- Follow up with subcontractors and vendors
- Confirm interest, pricing, and complete bid submissions
- Review incoming proposals
- Exclusions, and missing information
- Help distribute addenda, updates, and project information
- Support preconstruction and estimating meetings
- Notes, documentation, and follow up items
- Aid in assembling final bid packages
- Client facing proposal materials
- Maintain organized records
- Estimating systems, shared folders, and project databases
Qualifications
- 1 plus years of experience in construction administration, bid coordination, estimating support, or project coordination
- Commercial construction experience preferred
- Exposure to tenant improvement, healthcare, life science, lab, higher education, or technical interiors is a plus
- Strong organization, follow up, and communication skills
- Comfortable communicating with subcontractors, vendors, estimators, project managers, and leadership
- Ability to read basic construction documents, scopes, and project requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
- Experience with BuildingConnected, Bluebeam, Procore, SmartBid, or similar construction software is a plus
- Detail oriented, dependable, and eager to grow within preconstruction and estimating
