About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to fill a teaching position in a K-12 setting. This role involves shaping the minds of students and contributing to the school community through innovative teaching methods and a commitment to student success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet state and district standards.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, including tests, projects, and classroom participation.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student learning and growth.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student progress and needs.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs.
Requirements
- Valid Michigan teaching certification or eligibility for certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students in a classroom or similar setting.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to fostering an equitable and inclusive learning environment.
