BIA Agency Accounting and Finance Specialist - HYBRID

Responsibilities

• Budget Analyst – Evaluate, report, and plan with departments.
• Strategic Planning – Work with department director on agency objectives.
• Financial and Business Reporting – Report creation and delivery with contextual explanation.
• Agency Commissions – Reconciliation of deposits and transactions.
• Employee Commissions – Prepare, audit, and manage process.
• Carrier Relationship Management – Review results, growth, and profitability.

Requirements

Successful candidates should possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail, Excel proficiency including pivot tables, charts, and financial reporting, and communication and leadership skills. Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint experience are also preferred.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Benefits

Our current reasonable and good faith estimate of the annual salary or hourly wage range for this position is approximately $65,000 ($33.34 an hour) - $80,000 ($41.00 an hour) based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience. Pay

The current reasonable and good faith estimate of the annual salary or hourly wage range for this position is approximately $65,000 ($33.34 an hour) - $80,000 ($41.00 an hour).

Schedule

The work schedule is 37.5 hours per week. After an initial in-house training for the first 90 days, this position can be hybrid work at home, with a few days in office and a couple of days at home each week.
