Bi-Vocational Pastor

Preach on Sunday morning worship service.
Lead Wednesday evening Prayer Meeting service.
Minister to the needs of the people in the church.
Plan and coordinate all the worship services.
Officiate at weddings and funerals if needed.
Provide spiritual and scriptural counseling.
Lead in observing Ordnances of Baptism and the Lord's Supper.
Lead the church in an effective program of witnessing to the lost.
Visit members and prospects.
Visit the sick.
Moderate business meetings.
Work with deacons, church officers, and committees.
Cooperate with associational state, and denominational leaders in matters of mutual interest and concern.
Defend the Bible as being without error.
Support, encourage, and oversee local mission projects.
Oversee filling the pulpit on the Sunday he is not present to ensure doctrinal consistency.
Serve as chief administrator of the paid church staff.

A deep sense of God's calling.

Sound in Southern Baptist Doctrine of Faith.

Effective preaching ability and public speaking ability.

Should defend the Bible as being without error.

Proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Lead in an effective program of witnessing to the lost.
