BI Reporting Developer

IDR is seeking a BI Reporting Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Lexington, KY. In this role, you will support a large-scale public sector initiative by delivering scalable, high-impact reporting and analytics solutions. This organization operates within the government services industry and relies on accurate, actionable insights to drive operational decision-making.

About the role

• Perform data analysis across complex datasets to support business and operational reporting needs.
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Develop and maintain SSRS reports, including complex and parameterized reports.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries/scripts for analysis, validation, and ad hoc requests.
• Support ETL processes and data movement between transactional (OLTP) and analytical (OLAP) environments.

Requirements

• Strong experience in a data-focused role such as Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or similar.
• Hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports using Tableau.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports.
• Strong SQL development skills, including writing complex queries and scripts for reporting and analysis.
• Experience with ETL development and working across OLTP/OLAP data flows and architectures.
