Detailed Job Description

This request is for a Programmer to work in the OCFS Office of Research, Evaluation and Performance Analytics (OREPA) Data Warehouse (DW) unit. Incumbent will elicit, analyze, design, and document business and technical requirements for Child Welfare reporting and data visualizations intended for OCFS staff, Local Districts, Voluntary Agencies, and the public. Reporting includes Child Protective Services, Federal Financial Reporting, Child Care Assistance Block Grants, Family First, KPIs, and related dashboards to support operational and data quality efforts.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, design, and document business and technical requirements for Child Welfare reporting and data visualizations
• Support operational and data quality efforts through reporting on Child Protective Services, Federal Financial Reporting, Child Care Assistance Block Grants, Family First, KPIs, and related dashboards

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of experience testing reports, analytics, troubleshooting, problem solving, documenting, and presenting complex data challenges to stakeholders
