Responsibilities
- Respond to daily customer requests, inquiries, and issues through various types of correspondence.
- Provide thorough, efficient, and accurate documentation and updates in all required systems for each work event.
- Identify the root cause of issues and concerns and determine resolution.
- Maintain and organize all pertinent backup information to substantiate payment postings as necessary.
- Follow up in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
- On calls, offer and explain the value of non-regulated products and services (e.g., home wiring, surge protection, and water heater repair).
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate or equivalent relevant work experience desired.
- Previous call center/customer service experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Proficient personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment and prioritize and organize work.
- Ability to lift and/or move 20 pounds with or without accommodation.
- Camera required: must be on during training from start to end of each shift (not including breaks and lunches).
Schedule
Training: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (3 weeks + 2 weeks of Nesting), starting Monday, August 31, 2026. During training, you will be assigned a set work schedule within the indicated hours.
Post-training hours of operation: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM EST, and Saturday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST.
Pay
$17.00/hour.
