About the role
The Business Intelligence ETL Data Developer II/III develops, maintains, and enhances data pipelines and analytics solutions that enable data-informed decision-making across the University. This role involves taking ownership of data pipelines and contributing to modern data engineering practices within a cloud-based data ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance data pipelines using modern ELT tools (e.g., dbt, Fivetran, Airflow, or similar) in a cloud-based environment.
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL and/or Python-based transformations that support scalable analytics solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production data pipelines to ensure reliability, performance, and data integrity.
- Implement data validation, testing, and quality checks to improve the consistency and trustworthiness of data assets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical partners to deliver reliable, high-performing solutions, with a focus on data quality, maintainability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field earned by date of hire with two to four or more years of relevant experience OR
- Associate’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field earned by date of hire and four to six or more years of relevant experience.

Pay
Salary will be commensurate with the level of the position, education, and experience. Position Salary Range: $65,000 - $87,000.
Schedule
