About the role
The Girls Wrestling Assistant Coach position at Baker High School is available for the 2026-2027 school year. The position offers a salary range of $3,829 to $4,756 for the school year, with placement on the Extra Duty Salary Schedule contingent upon prior coaching experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and implementation of wrestling programs
- Support the head coach in all aspects of team management and operations
- Work closely with athletes to improve skills and performance
- Attend and participate in team meetings and practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related field
- Experience as a wrestling coach preferred
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Knowledge of high school sports administration and regulations
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and community members
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
Total compensation for the position ranges from $3,829 to $4,756 for the school year, with placement on the Extra Duty Salary Schedule dependent on prior coaching experience.
Schedule
Assistant coaches are expected to work evenings and weekends as needed to support the wrestling program.
