Bay Harbor Golf Club, the most upscale of the three Boyne Golf properties, is perched high atop a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. Inside the clubhouse you’ll find the Links Grille and pro-shop that make for an unforgettable golfing experience. Typical months of operation are early May through late October. About the role
This is a full-time or part-time seasonal position. The golf bag staff works closely with the Assistant and Golf Professional on outside golf operations to ensure a smooth experience for Bay Harbor Golf Club members and their guests. The role requires professionalism and service excellence in every interaction, as well as loading, cleaning, staging, and storing golf carts. If you love working outdoors and are passionate about golf, this may be the right position for you.
Responsibilities
- Meet and greet all members and their guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Keep all working areas attractive, neat, and clean, free of trash and waste.
- Follow procedures for proper opening and closing of cart and range operations.
- Inspect the condition of golf carts, with specific attention to cleanliness and appearance.
- Ensure cart cleanliness, stock cart supplies, and maintain cart condition.
- Assist golf shop personnel in tournament setup of golf carts and range operations.
- Follow company policy and procedures for safe cart usage.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
- Minimum age: 16.
- Ability to stand 6–8 hours.
