Beverage Supervisor | Part-Time | Mass Mutual Center

Responsibilities

• Oversight of all beverage ordering with assistance from other Food and Beverage Managers.
• Supervision of beverage service, including alcoholic beverages, and verification of guest identification for compliance with minimum age requirements.
• Assistance with beverage orders to maintain proper inventory levels.
• Maintenance of sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Showcasing excellent attendance and availability to work events as needed.
• Recognition and intervention with visibly intoxicated guests, enforcing appropriate actions.
• Enforcement of OVG policies and procedures.
• Assistance with projects including training, inventory, and special events.
• Performance of all other duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment, or relevant education.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise the work of others.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Possession of a valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit, if required by state or federal regulations.
• Accuracy in handling cash and responsibility in managing financial transactions.
• Basic mathematical skills pertinent to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation, and product inventory.

Pay

The hourly rate for this role is $20.00-$22.00.
