About the role

Serves meals to patrons in food outlet according to established procedures and customer service standards.

Engagement Expectations

• Display three behaviors during every interaction: smile, display energy, and open body language.
• Proactively greet team members and guests, initiating interaction to provide service.
• Always use a positive parting remark to end the conversation.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the table.
• Take food and beverage orders.
• Respond to guest questions regarding food preparation and menu.
• Inspect guest identification to ensure guest meets legal age limit for alcohol possession/consumption.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and act according to established alcohol awareness program guidelines.
• Serve food and beverages.
• Direct bus person and assist as needed in the clearing of tables.
• Complete required side work.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years of high volume food service experience required.
• Knowledge of food and beverage order processing systems.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process.

Physical and Mental Demands

• Regularly required to see, talk, and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently required to stoop and kneel.
• Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under frequently fast-paced work conditions.
• Ability to count.
• Ability to work in a noisy and smoky environment.
